4 Go-To Summer Outfit Formulas

Summer Outfit #1
White Skirt + Sleeveless Top + Red Heels + Red Handbag + Watch
A white skirt is a go-to way to freshen up your outfit for summer. I opted for a longer cut in this skirt to make this outfit work-appropriate. It hits right at the knee, it’s made of thick material so it is not see-through (also opt for lined skirts) and it pairs easily with neutral and pops of colors. I opted for a neutral top that I’ll layer with a blazer for work and pops of red in the heels and handbag.

Floral Skirt + Short Sleeve Blouse + Red Cardigan + Neutral Heels
A floral skirt is fun all-year round and this one fits for both summer and year-round wear. I pulled out the hues from the skirt to brighten up the top with a blush pink blouse and red cardigan. I kept this outfit work-appropriate with black bow heels and a classic clutch wallet.

Denim Shorts + Floral Top + White Belt + Block Heeled Sandals
Denim jean shorts are a must for summer. They withstand the test of time and are appropriate for all ages – simply adjust the length you are most comfortable with for your lifestyle. I’m accenting them here with a white belt and floral top. I love adding interest with belts and neutral ones are my favorites. Block heeled sandals in gray finish off this outfit.

Floral Dress + Flat Sandals + Sunglasses
A go-to floral dress is highly recommended in your closet. I’ve owned this one for 5+ years now and it’s still going strong! I’ll pair it with flat sandals, block heeled sandals or wedges for summer outfits. I’ll also layer a cardigan over it in navy or orange/coral for chillier weather.
