I am very excited to share a line of clothing that is critical to any healthcare professional’s day-to-day life: scrubs! I came across FIGS Scrubs this fall & fell in love with this Los Angeles based company. From their story to their charity work and of course, the best designed scrubs around, I was in awe. Today, I’m writing my FIGS Scrubs Review. Check out FIGS HERE.

If you’ve been following me, then you have seen glimpses of my healthcare life in my previous posts & Instagram stories (follow for a peak into my personal life!). I’m a critical care pharmacist & assistant professor – meaning I work in the intensive care unit of a hospital.
Are your scrubs too long, too boxy & falling down? Check out how this amazing company changes the way we think about scrubs!Click To TweetHaving trained in large academic medical centers for the past 7 years, I know all too well the dreaded hospital-provided scrubs uniform! What you probably don’t know about me though is…my twin sister and boyfriend are both physicians – they went through medical school during the same time I completed my pharmacy school education & are both medical residents at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles (obstetrics/gynecology specialty for my sister & radiology for my boyfriend).
Why do I bring all of this up? Because some background helps put this into context. I constantly see my sister and boyfriend wearing poor fitting scrubs to work – they wear scrubs daily & both struggle with the fit. Scrubs are too long…scrubs are too boxy…the waist is cinched so tight to keep them from falling down…
Sister: 4’11” + 24 inch waist + 25 inch inseam
Boyfriend: 5’6” + 29 inch waist + 29 inch inseam
Me (also HERE): 5’1” + 23 inch waist + 27.5 inch inseam
I’m so happy to have the opportunity to review FIGS and see if myself, sister & boyfriend finally found a scrub brand we could wear on a daily basis!
