Hi Everyone! Today I am continuing my Giving Back Series with eWillow Greeting Cards! My family and close friends know that I LOVE paper greeting cards and traditional snail mail to send a note, say “Happy Birthday” or give thanks! When I came across Charlene, founder of eWillow Greeting Cards, I was very impressed by the level of detail she puts into her greeting cards along with her philosophy of giving back!

She wanted to highlight the art behind high-quality cardstock and embellishments in each card – individually handmade! Charlene also wanted to address the constant annoyance with paper cards – you never seem to have the right card for a certain occasion – having to run to the store to buy one at the last minute! You know I place a high value on quality and customer service. That is one of the reason I wanted to start my Giving Back Series. To highlight qualities that are so often overlooked in today’s business world.
eWillow has an amazing story with Cosmetics for a Cause. Charlene’s daughter, Erica, founded Cosmetics for a Cause in 2012…when she was a junior in high school! The mission? To donate new makeup products to non-profit organizations who support women – Cosmetics for a Cause helps women who are searching for employment, recovering from sexual assault, living in safe houses, and recovering from cancer. The organization also donates to Toys for Tots and other groups that help teenage girls.

Greeting cards are truly special. Many of the cards I receive are keepsakes – nicely placed in my memory box to remind me of amazing times/events in my life. Therefore, the detail that goes into designing, crafting and producing a greeting card is truly an amazing experience. Charlene at eWillow has created gorgeous designs, with impeccable details, that will create lifelong memories!

It’s time to give back to the next generation! I love when companies come up with creative ways to get children involved. eWillow has created an entire Kids Greeting Card Line to help teach kids the importance of writing and sending cards!
I remember my own childhood. My mom instilled the importance of giving thanks and staying in touch with family and friends with the use of greeting cards. Every holiday, birthday, thank you card was handwritten by myself (and twin sister) as we celebrated and thanked our loved ones and friends. It was that special touch that really showed we cared.

Even cursive handwriting is being phased out of many early education programs! Just like paper journals and planners (see my favorite with Erin Condren HERE), greeting cards are not as popular.
