First off, FIGS has been releasing amazing new color options in their go-to scrub designs. I am happy to wear their burgundy or wine color in this post. I also am loving the Dark Harbor and the Heather Denim. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to pick up those colors fast enough and am waiting for my size to come back in stock! They are also offering crisp white now – I know many institutions require healthcare professionals to wear this color so hopefully you are now able to find your preferred scrub color available from FIGS!
Let’s take a moment to talk about quality. When I first was introduced to FIGS a year ago, I researched the company and evaluated their clothing and philosophy before giving my support to their products. So it is only fitting to update you on the quality of their items one-year later!
How did our scrubs hold up over the past year? After many washes, wears and life in busy hospital settings?!
AMAZINGLY WELL
Remember back that I first introduced FIGS Scrubs to you with my twin sister and boyfriend. They continue to wear FIGS scrubs on a near daily basis (sometimes required to wear operating room or sterile-approved hospital scrubs for procedure/surgery settings) and their items have endured a lot of wear and abuse. They have NOT pilled, faded or torn in the past year. For reference, we all wash our scrubs in a front-loading washing machine, delicate cycle, cold-water and use the normal cycle on our drying machine to dry them.
For lifewear – vests, fleece jackets, and tees or underscrubs – we have had the same positive experience. No pilling, fading or tearing of pieces. For reference, we wash these items the same as above but the fleece jackets/vest we will hang dry on a hanger/drying rack.
The final verdict on FIGS?!
The quality is real. The comfort is real. The fit is the best.
I continue to highly recommend FIGS Scrubs and hope you have enjoyed reading (or watching on my YouTube channel) my blog posts on FIGS.
