Winter Skin Care-How I’m Keeping my Sensitive Skin Hydrated

Who’s suffering from winter skin problems?! I know many of us experience changes in our skin during temperature changes. That is why we adjust our skin care regimens to fit our needs throughout the year. Today, I’m discussing winter skin care and am excited to share my thoughts on Dermalogica’s newest products!

For me, winter means drier skin that really needs a boost of hydration. I have combination skin and have a baseline skin care regimen I use year-round and add in or switch out products during season changes. I already use Dermalogica’s Ultracalming Line in my baseline routine and for winter, I’ve added in their new Clear Water Gel and Barrier Defense Booster, to keep my skin hydrated and moist throughout the day.
My thoughts? I’m loving the new products! After a month of consistent use, my skin feels hydrated for 12+ hours. I don’t see any flaking or peeling skin that can sometimes occur during very dry, winter months. I also feel my skin has an extra layer of protection against environmental elements.
Overall, I’m very happy that Dermalogica is expanding their line for sensitive skin. It’s difficult to find products that are non-irritating and high quality for sensitive skin.
