3 Travel Essentials I’m Loving this Season
Summer marks a season for travel! To prepare for upcoming trips, I decided to test out few bags that will get me through any trip this season. Learn more about each one below and why I’ve loved each one over the past month.

Pearl Crossbody Bag
When traveling, I love a crossbody bag to keep my essentials with me. The Pearl bag has always caught my eye and I finally purchased it in this gorgeous Plum color earlier in spring. I took it on travel to New York City and around Los Angeles thus far. Features I love:
- 2 zippered pockets to keep items secure
- 1 main compartment with snap closure
- 1 small zipper pocket within main compartment – perfect for small items like gum or medications
- 3 inner pockets to store lip gloss, pens, and more
- Big enough to fit my essentials including: wallet, sunglass case, phone, tissues, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, chapstick, pen, breath mints, and small notebook
Edgemont Backpack
I initially was interested in this Edgemont Backpack because my work tote bag was causing significant shoulder pain from carrying my laptop and planner to and from work. I was searching for a work-appropriate backpack for this reason and came across Lo & Sons new Edgemont design that converts from a backpack to a tote bag easily! I was sold!
I’m still using this bag for work and it has helped my shoulder pain over the past month. I’ll continue to use it as my carry-on bag for flights because it fits my laptop and a few other essentials while still fitting under the seat in front of me. Features I love:

- Organizer includes a padded laptop section that fits my 13″ laptop

Catalina Deluxe Bag
Finally, a weekend bag was on my list for summer travel. I was looking for a bag that was large enough for a long weekend while still incorporating fun summer color options and zipper pockets. I found the Catalina Deluxe Bag the perfect size for me. This design actually comes in 4 sizes and I chose the Small size instead of the Large size. The Teal Blue color was the perfect match for me! Features I love:
- Large enough for weekend or weeklong travel
