If you’ve followed me for awhile, then you know Banana Republic is one of my go-to stores for classic pieces, work attire & petite-friendly fits. All of my work pants come from BR – see my post on their Sloan pants here.
For those who live locally in Los Angeles or are visiting the area, Old Town Pasadena is a favorite spot. It’s filled with my favorite stores and restaurants – plus it’s a short drive from the Rose Bowl, Cal Tech and The Langham Hotel (see my Afternoon Tea at The Langham Pasadena). I don’t live as close to Pasadena as I used to while at USC but it’s still a go-to favorite of mine. I won’t get into details on all of our favorite restaurants and shops in this post- feel free to leave a comment if you want recommendations!
Onto Banana Republic‘s Summer Collection. You may have seen previews on my Instagram Stories of these outfits – here are snaps of my favorites with links to browse/purchase the products. Outfit #1:
This was a fun work outfit. I love the bright top, classic necklace and ruffle detailing on this skirt!

Outfit #2:
It was fun taking this floral top from day to night – I paired it with Sloan pants for work and these embellished shorts for weekend casual. You can also wear this top as a cold-shoulder top (which I didn’t even realize when I put it on in store!)
Unfortunately this blush pink trench coat is sold out online!
Outfit #3:
This is a fun summer dress! It fits well in length in petite-sizing and it pairs well with a denim jacket and statement necklace! I added in colorful sandals for a pop of color!
Outfit #4:
This was one of my favorite long-dresses! The ruffle detailing was perfect and the length was again very petite-friendly!
Outfit #5:
This floral print is gorgeous for summer and this blazer makes it easy to transition from work to evening wear! I paired a textured linen top underneath with classic white denim.
Outfit #6:
I love bright colors for spring and summer and this coral orange has an amazing laser-cut design. It is very flattering and also comes in black (on sale).
