Anthropologie Work Outfits & Casual Outfits
I’m continuing my popular Fit Reviews today with work outfit and casual outfit inspiration from the new lines at Anthropologie. I’ll be honest, I haven’t shopped at Anthropologie much because of their larger clothing sizes and higher prices. But, they do have more petite-sizing available now (sometimes not in stores – as you can see below with all the regular sizes I tried on) but their quality and variety of clothing is amazing!

Outfit: Nevaeh Floral Dress, Size Regular 0
Thoughts: When I saw this dress I thought it would be wonderful for work to date night. And I was pleasantly surprised to find it fit in a regular 0 ok (a 00 or Petite 0 or 00 would be more form-fitting). The length was appropriate though and a cardigan or blazer would complete the work outfit. I also loved the price for this dress, at less than $175, it was affordable and not too expensive compared to other Anthropologie dresses.
Outfit: Velma Ruffled Top, Size Regular XS
Thoughts: I LOVE the color combination in this ruffled top. It is gorgeous with teal greens, mustard yellows and the added detailed of ruffled sleeves. It actually fit pretty well in the regular XS but I would size down to a Petite if they came back in stock.
Outfit: Pearled Denim Trucker Jacket, Size Regular XS
Thoughts: I love the pearl detailing on this denim jacket. The regular XS actually fit well on me – online also offers size XXS though and I would consider sizing down. Great denim jacket if you are looking for a new one that adds some flare to the design.
Outfit: Samara Lace Top, Size Regular XS
Thoughts: I love the large lace sleeves on this top! I would size down to a Petite XXS if I could – the white color is still available in this size. The baby pink color is very pretty though.
Outfit: Crochet & Lace Top, Size Regular XS
Thoughts: I love the detailing with the crochet and lace combination. I was pleasantly surprised to find the regular XS to fit ok in the sleeve length and fit. Petite-sizing is available though down to XXSP and if worn loosely, I may stick with a regular XS. This crochet & lace top comes in white or navy colors.
Outfit: Red Roses Kimono, One Size
Thoughts: I immediately fell in love with the bright print in this kimono. It only comes in one size so I think if styled properly, it can work on a petite-frame. These photos don’t do it justice – I would work on styling it better at home. Pick up to wear during season transitions from spring to summer and summer to fall!
Outfit: Salut Tee, Size Regular XS
Thoughts: I think this tee is very cute and has an updated design to elevate it from a the regular v-neck tees I may wear. I’m trying on regular XS but would probably size down to regular XXS. This Salut Tee also comes in navy.
Outfit: Printed Boat Neck Tee, Size Regular Small
Thoughts: Ok, first off this is a size or two big on me. My store only had a regular small so please excuse the size in the photos. I love the printed detailing and would like it in the rose pink color (online). It also comes in petite-sizing and goes down to size XXS. Cute casual tee to add to your wardrobe.
