How to Style a Bow Dress
A bow dress already comes with amazing detail so keeping your outfit simple is recommended. That means no necklace is required because the bow is the statement piece!
I recommend a classic heel and am fortunate enough to have a black heel with bow-detailing! My heels are Salvatore Ferragamo and this company makes several styles with bow-detailing including flats and block wedges. See how these quality shoes fit over on this blog post.
For work, consider adding a classic blazer to this tie-neck dress. I was able to pair a similar burgundy colored blazer for this outfit. Note, I do not think it is necessary to wear a blazer with this particular dress because it is short-sleeved and work-appropriate without one. But, I do like layering options for chilly offices!
To finish off, I recommend pairing a clutch or chain wallet with this outfit. Of course I forgot to get photos with this handbag for this blog post but you can see my favorite from Tory Burch over on this blog post.
I highly recommend picking up this J. Crew Tie-Neck Dress before it sells out. I’m wearing size 00P and it fits perfectly without alterations or tailoring. I was happy to find that the petite-sizing was 2-2.5 inches shorter in length than the regular-sizing (that I tried on in stores) and the length is perfect – hitting right above my knee. This J. Crew dress also comes in navy with white accent and is a great option for those looking for a navy dress (I already own a couple navy dresses so burgundy was a new color to my dress collection).
